Seven years ago, I ventured to ask my wife to make a lifetime change. A
“simple move” just down the interstate to a town that is smaller than my son
and daughter’s high school class. In that first conversation, the shock was
sandwiched between the opportunity and the unknown. But as we always
have done, we leaned into our love for each other, our family, and this life
God chose for us. And yes, it came with one caveat…. “I can get some
goats”. So that is where this journey began. Gal & Goat was envisioned
by Tracey prior to the move. Her mission statement, her product line ideas,
and her overall business model began to take shape in the years before
our venture West. Constantly being tweaked and improved upon she has
managed to create core items our current customers have grown to love
along with a few adventures. Now we are here… an online store, an
antique merchant building under restoration, and yes goats.

The blog section of our online store will share our stories, thoughts, &
recipes. Gal & Goat will always be moving towards a new adventure and
we always love having the community we care for come along.
