I wanted to create products and experiences that reflect the benefits and improved lifestyle I've enjoyed from living on my farm. My goal for the Mercantile is to offer a place where both locals and people from rural Nebraska can rediscover the joy of shopping.

Nothing prepared us for the journey but yet each day we are blessed waking up to our small farm in Nebraska. Our first year on the land was focused on building our home and yet we knew we had to start the process of bringing back the life to the land.  It was abandoned by the insects, the birds, the reptiles, the mammals, and even the small microbes.  Our goal was to invest the life sources back into the environment and let time build the health back into the soil.  So here we are into our sixth year….and a lot has changed for the better.  

Our time is spent building our regenerative farming practices.  Our main crops are garlic, herbs, and honey.  Taking the chemicals out of the process and brining back the strength of the environment with balance in mind.  Our passion is all that we can bring to you and to our community.  

Everything we grow has been touched by our hands. Garlic, herbs, flowers, harvested with the hopes it makes the best products for you.

At Gal and Goat, we prioritize quality ingredients, small-batch production, and handcrafted goods. Our friendly atmosphere allows everyone to enjoy small-town products. We're committed to creating opportunities for our community.

Even the Gal knows that Happy Sweet Goats make the best milk. Goat milk in our products give you the benefit of their beneficial fatty acids and probiotic effects while leaving your skin with a revitalizing effect.  And if you’re lucky we will work on making products that you can nibble on as well.
